We found Tacos and Beer by chance 6-7 years ago. It just a quick walk from our hotel. This place is a legitimate must stop for Mexican food, and their Tacos are off the scale amazing!!! I believe that I might have had carne Asada my first time, and they were great. My go to since has been the Baja Shrimp Tacos. Literally, it's all I order when there, and they are just simply the best Tacos I've ever had! Hands down!

OMG, this little hole in the wall is absolutely amazing. Best fries ever. Yummy yummy Street Corn and tacos. Awesome burger. Fabulously reasonable prices. Highly recommend

After a long drive, just wanted food from some place within walking distance and stumbled onto Tacos and Beer. EXCELLENT! The food is great, but the service is even better. Friendly staff that kept checking on us & making sure everything was perfect (Thanks Braxton!). As a Texan, I am rather picky but this was better than many of the hole in the wall spots near my own home.

Taco Tuesday really good; had mushroom, been and potato($1-$2 ea). Also guacamole, chips and light refreshing draft Garage Lime excellent. 2nd visit: OMG been chasing chile rellenos made by family ...found this is not only EXCEPTIONAL but can add meat (had grilled Tilapia), refried beans and Spanish rice. Would never of thought fish as option; definitely a MUST have. Portion size is huge but ate it all anyway Forgot to take taco pics Servers: Carly and Brie over and above

Overall we enjoyed Tacos & Beer. It was our first visit. The food was delicious. The salsa and queso had a nice kick. The meat inside the tacos was fresh quality and had good flavor. The prices were unbelievable. In my hometown the tacos are double the price and smaller! I was super impressed by the portions and cost. Service was a little slow, but I think that's normal everywhere these days. Our server was very nice, just slammed. We'd return again when in NOLA.

Tacos and beer is the place to go for taco Tuesdays. You get a bang for ya buck; literally. Enjoy a variety of $1 tacos. I had the steak, grilled chicken, and tinga. We were seated upstairs. The floor upstairs is kinda slippery like they just redid the floors or something. But overall a good experience

Love this place. Their tacos are always on point and taco Tuesday is such a vibe. They have bar, dining room and outdoor seating (which is amazing on a sunny day). It’s a must try!!!
